If you have to put some bends in the tubing to get it to fit nice, no problem. Shouldn't hurt a thing... since you don't plan on running them at the track it doesn't matter.
Also a couple bends will quiet it down some. Speaking of which, a standard offset/offset 3" turbo muffler would make 'er quiet and they're cheap, a straight thru glasspack-type muffler would also quiet it down at idle and part throttle.... with some turn-downs/outs.
