I ran stock '93 valve covers with Cobra 1.7's... but I had to remove the baffle and grind the cast-in mounting bosses. It was a couple years ago, so no picks... sorry. But the stockers will fit.
Oh, I went a bought one of those nifty screw in K&N air filters to replace the factory oil cap and plugged the holes where the rubber hose connected to the T/B.

Otherwise the fancy cast alum. finned FRPP valve covers are a tad taller than the stockers I believe, and I think would work with your spacer... which fit under your stock hood nicely (maybe take the liner out if it rubs too bad)
