Good thing he doesn't realize that Canada has more oil than all the middle east combined. As of the last oil reserve estimates there is enough oil in Canada's Tar Sands to supply the entire world at it's current consumption rate for the next 350 years. And of course they are finding more oil reserves all the time.
Canada and the US are buddies, and I'm sure Canada would share with the US, so in a way the US does control the bulk of the worlds oil supply.
Very few poeple realize the extremely vast supply of oil in Canada's Tar Sands...
