Tireburner - SS's with just basic mod's are very fast (airbox, exhaust work and other little Chevy stuff) and they can run low 13's, say 13.2 to 13.4. I'll run 13.0 to 13.2 (I'm the weakest part of my car, out of about 50 runs I've only broken 2.0 twice for a 60' time, a high 1.8 and a high 1.9). I know my car has upper 12's in it for sure, I just need to keep practicing (I've only been to the track 4 times since having the SC installed. Anyways, enough of my excuses. SS's can be VERY fast with just basic mods. Stock SS's I have no problems with. I raced an SS a while ago at an 8th of a mile track and his end time was over 88 mph (shocking!, and this guy said his car was stock, which I doubt because I have raced many stock SS's and never lost, except to this one). I can't remember his end time, but this SS pulled me down in the end! We both had poor hole shots, but once my car is out of the hole and I've got the lead I have never had anyone catch me (it takes no skill to keep your foot planted) and this guy did. Remember stock SS's come with 330 HP. My stock GT came with 260 hp. My SC only gives me about 80 rear wheel hp, which brings me to about 340 hp, not too much over an SS.
