WADS56, I agree 100%. I'm trying not to let cost interfere too much, but it's hard not to when you consider how large the cost difference will be:
Carb: FREE, already have it.
Intake: $260.00 port matched and cleaned up
Fuel pump/filter/lines/regulator/fittings: $500.00
Ignition/distributor: $350.00
Not too bad...
EFI: Pump, injectors, regulator, manifold, TB, MAF, dyno tune/chip burn...almost $2,000.00

The thing that's urking me though, is the cutting of the wiring harness. It seems that once it's done, there's no turning back...

Still, that's a lot LESS money to build it carbed and that much less time it will take to get it on the road.

Thanks for the opinion.
