It all depends on how and where you drive yuor car, and what the tread rating on the tire is. I had a set of BFG Comp T/A 275-40-17's. They lasted about 12,000 miles. I burn the sh*t out of them. I think they had a tread rating of like 300, but not sure. They higher the number the longer they will last. But also, the higher the number the harder the rubber, which means not good for dry traction. I just got rid of those Comp T/A's and got a pair of BFG G-Force 275-40-17. They are awesome and they hook really well too. But, their tread rating was like 200 or 220. I am going to make them last though, lol. Oh well, hope this helps alittle. Take it easy.
