An 8.5 slick will not need screws, nor a tube, thats just my opinion though, so dont hold me against it,
i run a 26x10.5 e.t. street, (close enough to a slick) on 15x8 rim, but im about to mount the same tires on some 15x7's, they will bulge out a little, but i see people do it at the track, noone around here uses tubes in e.t. streets, at least not on street strip cars, and hoosier, or m/t slicks have the same basic design as the e.t. streets.
