HEY EVERYONE!
Thought I"d go ahead and let ya'll know how Ennis went! Well, I actually found a room about 10-15 min from the track! I was gonna stay w/ Dana Lewis..It was getting late by the time we got there and i still had the car to clean. I got to meet Dana on Saturday! She was running True Street..I enjoyed meeting her. She was very nice to offer for me to stay at her place! THANKS DANA!
I went up w/ my friends from our SVT Cobra Club down here. Had a great trip to Ennis. Met up w/ Crewzin and 347 on Saturday! The had the most AWESOME spot saved for me!!!!! We were there with "Elinor". Crewzin had his new Mach. Cad also showed up.
The place was Packed on Saturday. I bet there were AT LEAST 150 cars there! They only gave out to the Top 25. And there were a BUTT LOAD of trucks from a club...it was participants choice.
Me, 347, and Crewzin went to my room after the show, they borrowed the shower, then Crewzin went back to the track, and me and 347 drove to the ends of the earth(or so it seemed!) to find a liquor store!!!!!! (DRY COUNTY ALL AROUND THERE!
)
They cooked us some steaks for dinner, Cad was there too. Then I headed back to the hotel. i was beat.
Sunday started out HORRIBLE...
I parked my car right next to the sprinkler system!!!!!!!!!!! And, NO , I didn't have a cover!
When I got down to my car on Sunday morning it was covered, the wheels, ,the whole front end and fenders w/ hard water spots. THat **** would NOT come out! God, I was so stressed out!!!!!!!!!
Heather and Jayson helped me clean it up(347 and Cruisin) cuz it was like I had to start all over again. ALSO it was Heathers 30th BIRTHDAY!
They did the Sunday awards...Top 20 Mustangs and Specialties...
EVERYONE did great!
Cruisin and 347 Got a Top 20 w/ the Mach
All my friends from the SVT COBRA CLUB got a Top 20
I got a Top20
Nicole(Girls Can 2) Got Best overall Interior
I got Best overall ENGINE!!!!!
(I freaked out! COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!)
These awards were out of OVER 100 cars...
Also, Dennis Gage from My Classic Car was there again..He came up to me when i was working on my car and we shot the sh$$ and he have me a new license plate w/ the logo and a new sticker. He also came up to me at the awards..I thought that was really cool....Hes really nice. BUT, he has no hair! He still wears his funny cap, but, I didn't realize how short he shaves his head!
(guess he makes up for it in the MUSTACHE!)!!!
So, Im happy after all that I decided to go! Turned out better than I had hoped or thought it would! and THANKS 347 and Crewzin, for helpin me out and for feeding me!!!!! I really appreciate it!!!!!
