That's not necessarily true, I am still under the factory warranty on my car, and I've done a lot of mods (click on the "My Mods" link below to see the one's i've done without voiding warranty). All my mods accept for the offroad h-pipe, which i take off when i brought my car into the dealer, were on when i had my engine replaced under warranty, and they approved my car. Just make sure that if you talk to the dealer u don't mention any mods they won't normally know about (gears, etc.) or any racing you've done w/ the car.

I think the warranty's a good idea, it got me a $3000-5000 engine replacement done for $50.
