I wouldn't mess with it. Getting a PD to run 14psi is like getting a 289ci to run 9's. It might do it a couple of times, but it is not going to live long. The bearings in the powerdyne are prone to wear and must be changed sometime in their lifetime. The powerdyne was never really designed to make a lot of boost. It is mainly a street blower. The old BD-10s used to have problems with the idler pulley seizing up and cutting the belt in half(been there). The new BD-11s have had the idler pulley removed and the belt shortened. They also lightened the internal components so they could get away without an idler. Bottom line, it is still the same old 6# blower with a new name, and I think 14 psi is unheard of in a belt driven blower. I believe the new X geardriven blower they make bolts right up to the existing bracketry and puts out a healthy 18psi. If you don't have the cash, about $2000 w/o the miscleaneous, you could go with an A-trim vortech. They're easily tailored for 10#'s of reliable boost. Any more and you need an s-Trim.
