That one doesn't surprise me...but how in the heck did the deer get there? Looks like it must have jumped into the road just as the Durango got there. There's no damage to the front bumper.

My dad ran an 80's model suburban through a herd of cattle one night. They were headed back up from a job on the caprock and came around a bend directly into a herd that had gotten loose. They didn't hit one dead on, thank goodness, but they did nail one in the side of the head with the front passenger bumper. Instant death and loss of bowel control as the cow flipped around, it's hind quarters hitting and bashing in the passenger door while simultaneously spraying the entire side of the suburban with crap.

I've known of people who have died from hitting livestock head on at highway speeds.
