That's simply because they don't know how to push the RWD car harder. There is a real easy thing to do called "pushing too hard" on an FWD car the front end will push, and that is no fun. I've driven both to the limit (FWD and RWD) and I would much rather have the rwd because its easier to correct. That's also why cops go ape S**t when they are handed FWD cars.

I think that is the point I am trying to make exactly. You need to learn how to drive a RWD car to the limit. Once you do its much more fun.
