I agree 100% with Tireburner. I have the Steeda Tri-Ax and am very happy with it. It has adjustable mechanical stops that definitely prevent overshifting, and offset 2-3 shift that prevents misshifting, and 2 different lever positions for different length throws. You can yank on it like a gorilla and not hurt anything; I broke the gas pedal in my '00, but the tranny is still alive.
