I had a bad spider expierience as a child, and have been terrified of them ever since!!!!!!!!! (one was crawling around on my pillow while I was getting dressed for bed!)
You did the right thing stompin him...we have tons that look like that around here...I cant deal w/ them at all....I'd rather deal w/ a mouse or a snake...(which a did a few weeks ago in the yard...a snake!)
I went after him w/ the lawnmower, and he went into my neighbors backyard towards thier pool!
