Well, I turn the key on, engine off. Ground the one side of the voltmeter to the car, or puncture the black wire on the TPS, same results. Probe the green wire on the TPS and it's at 1.3 in the full counter clockwise position, and upwards of 1.8 on the other side. I checked it at WOT, and that too is messed up showing from 9.5 to 10.2, when it is supposed to be around 4.7-5.0. I've checked the research threads and dremeled out the screw holes a bit, but still the min I got was 1.2V. This can't be right. I've heard of adjusting the air screw, and some other things? Can you test the TPS sensor, or does is just work, or not? I just bought the car, and I'm going through the standard 5.0 clean up. K&n, new plugs, wires, cap/rotor/fuel filter, threw some timing in there, and made sure that restrictor piece was not in the fender on the other side of the filter. The car is a 92 and has 130K on it, and has moved in 15 months.

Any Suggestions?

The thing actually runs real hard, but this TPS thing might make it better.
