What I hear you saying is you want to drive the car, put a little money in it and enjoy your teenage years. Sell the classic Mustang and buy a reliable economy car like a Honda Civic or Accord, Ford Escort, etc. Be sure to buy a model you can live with and be sure it is new or nearly new. What I mean is its better to buy a Hyundai sports car for $10K and drive it for 100,000 miles all under warranty then to spend the same $10K on fixing up your classic. When you're 16 you're looking for cheap miles and you'll not get them from a classic car.
