Zepherman ... The weather in Monterey in Jan and feb is colder than a witches tit in a brass bra on the dark side of the moon in the middle of the ice age !!
Well its really not that cold on the thermometer but the ocean air makes if feel cold ... I was at Ft Ord for boot camp in Feb & Mar, and one min i was freezing the next i was hot. It doesn't rain that much but in the late spring you start to get alot of fog (cold). On the plus side just south of you at Big Sur and Carmel is some of the most beautiful coast line on the entire planet !!! don't miss Pt Lobos or the 17 mile drive at carmel !! Infreekin credible !!
