Calcium is excellent for you, but cow's milk isn't the best way to get it.
Hell, I still drink milk sometimes, but I know that it's not healthy. I drink alcohol, too.
Here's a few links for you to check out.
The
First One has good info, and includes info from The New England Journal of Medicine, as well as several prominent doctors, including Frank Oski, M.D., author of Don't Drink Your Milk! . He is the Director of the Department of Pediatrics of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Physician-in-Chief of the Johns Hopkins Children's Center. He is also the author, co-author, editor or co-editor of 19 medical textbooks and has written 290 medical manuscripts. BUT, the website it is on is a religious one, and I'm not particularly religious, so I only offer it as a source of collected information, not the informations original source.
The second one is from the book
Whole Health, by Joseph Keon.
This site has tons of links for more info, but it might be more info than you want.
This
Last One is from a fitness website, and lists tons of references for you.
Take care,
