On the question posed concerning our ability to get down and nasty if the odds suddenly shift the other way, I refer you to Mogadishu, Somalia. A hundred or so rangers who had absolutely no combat experience. . . . .5000 somalis with guns. That wasn't so much a demonstration of US military superiority as it was a testament to the American spirit and the will to survive. I think we have what it takes. I just hope the folks back home have what it takes to continue supporting these boys when they start dropping. You guys who are active duty, Godspeed and good luck. . . my prayers are with you.
