My friend has two motors that are very close to your combination, right down to the heads. One of them has gone 10.1 on nitrous and like 10.6 on motor and the other car went 10.75 last month on motor.
Here's a link to the specs on that car:

He's carburated several cars and that one that is in the link can be driven pretty much anywhere you want to go any time you want to do it. It's using an 810 CFM Holley Quick Fuel.
He actually did try a few different carbs on this car and that is the one that performed the best but they're not cheap.
He did some work on the car that went 10.1 and has upped from the Canfields to a set of AFR 205 heads and a bigger cam so I belive he's upped the carb to an 830 CFM Holley HP.
If you want to know I'm sure I can get the jet sizes for you he wouldn't mind telling. He had a 750 on it in the past and it just really wouldn't hang, he loves that quick fuel though. Neither of these cars have a choke so you have to let it run for a little bit when you're warming it up.
Oh Yeah, for anybody interested that red car I linked to is FOR SALE at a VERY GOOD PRICE. Email me if you want details and I'll give you his email addy.
