The thing is though why shell out for the 24# if you don't need them the injectors alone aren't really gonna give you any power. The motor will be giving more gas than it needs. If you're getting a good deal on injectors or you're planning on putting cam or heads in the very near future, then go for it. If not then why not just pick up a set of used 19# injectors, you'll be running the same power without the need for swapping sampling tubes in your MAF.
I mean you're gonna do what you're gonna do, they'll run fine in the car once you get the fuel pressure cut but to run them you're gonna need a new sampling tube, a fuel pressure regulator(most likely) and injectors. That's some cash you're going to be laying out, on the other hand it's not that hard to find used 19#s for relatively cheap and bolt them in.
Basically the point I'm trying to make is: Why put them in there and blow the money to get them running with the same power, when you can save the cash and buy something else that will really help you out?
