I have a BONE stock 5-speed 90 GT. The original ower was my cousin who changed the shocks & struts at 40k miles. The car now has 110k and I want to replace some suspension parts. I'm interested in FMS-B springs ($135), KYB GR-2 shock/struts ($160), and a PST Polygraphite front end kit ($190).
Please note that my car is a daily driver and never sees any tack time. I want to improve handling and maybe get a little bit of a lower ride, but not sacrifice reliability, am I on the right track? I considered FMS-C springs but I drive in NYC and I think it would be way to bumpy. Any experience with the PST kit? Any positives/negatives? Also, would I need any other suspension parts during this rebuild, that are NOT included in the PST kit? Do you think caster/camber plates will be necessary?
As of now with the stock suspension, I have highy abnormal front inner tire wear on both sides, 2 alignments didnt help at all. My front tires pretty much need replacing now, after only 15k miles. Would be nice to fix this problem in the process. Please advise.
