OK, I need to get a correct ID of the trans in my 69 Coupe so I can try and find a shift linkage rod that will work with the 69 floor shifter. I call on the Lords of Mustang Knowledge for the ID of the folowing set of numbers I found on the tranny up near the shift linkage: 77UP70066AA and below them were the numbers "25". I may have goten some of the last numbers wrong because it's hard for me to tell the difference between 0, G, and D. I looked all over the tranny on both the passenger and drivers side for some big stamping or casting that said C4 or C6 or AOD but I couldnt find anything. It didnt help that it was pouring rain and I had to work on it in the driveway.
