I'm planning on installing 3.55's on my stock 88 GT. A friend put 3.55's on his stock 90 LX & they are awsome!!
He can hit 120mph in 4th, but never been full out in 5th.
I think 3.55's are the best gear for a street driven Stang.
Dont know much about 3.73's

Oh ya, you should get a new speedomoter tooth
or the mph reading will be off a little
