I was wondering if any one removed the cats from their cars and what effect did it have. I have an 88GT Speed density.

Would the car pass the emissions sniffer if I hollowed out the cats????

If it does pass it will be buy me some time so I can get the bucks for hiflow cats. I also need to know if Hiflow cats are legal in NJ and the car has 4 cats I see a lot of aftermarket set ups with only 2 cats are they ok to install in NJ
