if you take off the valve cover, look for E7TE-AA cast into the head between a couple of valve springs, i believe that's where you can find it. E7TE heads were made in '87 and are also used in the F series truck engines, but not the non-HO 302 passanger car engines.'
I may be somewhat wrong about the AA part of the casting but that's what are on the two sets of E7TE heads i have in my garage.
They have the same valve sizes as the previous D8OE (i believe that is the casting number of previous heads) of 1.78" intake and 1.46" exhaust (again, guessing) but have larger ports and don't have a swirl port design like the passanger car heads.
