Actually, that wasn't that bad of a call. While the ball was in the air, the defenseman had a hold of Gamble's Jersey not allowing him to get inside position. It should have been called a hold and not pass interference. The one ref signaled hold (the one who threw the flag).

I am not an Ohio State fan. So don't think I am trying to defend them. Something else worth noting is how the refs never threw a holding penalty on Miami on just about every play when the bucks were bringing the heat. Without Miami holding, Dorsey would be a broken man today.
