Default Brain pickin time - 351 heads

I'm hoping someone here has experience with these things. I have a set of heads that came off a 1970's vintage Glastron Carlson marine engine. (302) I think they are the '69 351 heads but not sure. On the underside of the intake runners (reading from top to bottom) are the following

D00E
C THis is all on runner #1

351

24
The intake valves are 1.84's, exhaust ? ? ? There are humps in the exh. ports but no thermactor holes.
My question: These have rocker arm studs in them and I believe they are pressed in studs. Are they indeed?
I'm gonna try to cut for 1.94's, and 1.60's with a lot of port work in hopes of getting better flow than the stock heads without spending an arm and a leg.
Has anyone worked a set of these over and if so, did it help?
