What PKRWUD says sounds good but i would like to see hard facts. Don't get me wrong PKRWUD knows allot more then me about this stuff, but I hear good points from both sides on this issue from reading about it on the internet.
I can say for a fact though that Castrol GTX, and Quakerstate sucks! I had the valvecovers off my old 83gt which I ran those two oils and there was allot of sludge (yes... every 3000 miles). I then switched to mobil 1 and after a few oil changes it was clean as a whistle. I had no leaks and it ran better also. The same goes for my 93lx to, I put in mobil 1 in it after 110,000 miles and no leaks plus a better running car.
Run what you want but it will last longer with mobil 1. Even if it does leak.
