i dont have a digital cam. yet, but i have a good friend that does. i'll see if i can get some pics downloaded. its still got the stock dana 35 in the rear with a factory trac-loc(limited slip, very similar to the one in mustang 8.8's) and the dana 30 front. the frt should be ok because i'm not rock crawlin', but i worry about the rear every time i launch it at a stop light

actually a simple swap for the rear and what i will do if i break it, is put in a ford explorer 8.8 rear maybe even a late one with disk brakes. its only 3/4 inch shorter than the stock dana and the wheel bolt pattern is the same. all you have to do is weld on new spring perches in the right location. i know when i put on the 35's that the rears days will be numbered, i guess i should already be lookin'. the hardest part of the swap was the wiring,OMG it was a mess. took me 3 weeks working in my spare time to get everything working. chrysler engineers never intended for chevy engine controls and assorted electronics to be combined with there stuff but everything works like a charm. the tach reads two times what the engine is actually turning, but there is a gizmo that i read about to splice into the harness to correct that. it was a good swap that i'm very proud of and very happy with.
