It so happens I just changed the plugs in my 93' LX and set the gap at .054 and it runs much better now. I've had similar work done to my car and the performance shop that did most of the work to the car told me to set the gap at .054 when doing future plug changes. Hope this helps.

bigred90gt did mention that he had a MSD6AL & matching coil. .054 is the stock spark plug gap setting...so with the aftermarket ignition putting out a more powerful spark...you can definitely open up the gap to .060-.065. I have the Crane HI-6 ignition box with the PS-91 coil and have been told by the Crane techs that I should open up the gap to .065.
