I'd replace the IAC valve. That happened to me a while back and, in addition, the car would stall if I had the A/C running too. I popped in a brand new IAC and it went away.
Your EGR valve could also be involved, but I don;t think it effects the idle as much, it's more for recycling the gases coming from the crankcase.
