the oil pressure is always higher when you start a cold motor (has to do with oil temp and viscosity), as the oil warms it gets thinner creating a lower oil pressure..

factory guages are'nt very accurate.

aftermarket is the only way to get a true reading, and depending on the mileage of your motor, low oil pressure on higher mileagew motors, is a Ford trademark...
