Well, you really have to take the engine apart first. Depending on what the crank looks like, (whether it can be polished up, or refinished) will depend on what bearings you'll need. If you can polish the crank back, you should be able to use the standard bearings. If the crank needs to be re-chromed, you'll need the undersize, since the diameter of the crank will be larger than before.

I'm in the same boat right now. Anyone actually gone through this from start to finish with a re-chrome?
