I recently sold my '88 GT with a 306, T5 and a Vortech S-trim to a "rich" kid for $4500. I rebuilt the car twice in the five years that I owned it. The first accident happened when my buddy went up an on-ramp to quickly in the rain. I was so angry, I almost ripped his head off. It needed a nose and frame work and he picked up the bill on that one. The next accident was my fault. Up here in New England, we have snow on the ground for about three months a year. I made it through the winter on bald 15" Goodyears (thank god). Spring came and one little patch of "black ice" helped my stang get "D.P." while going through a tunnel. I needed another nose, frame work and a rear bumper this time. When we finished the work on the car, it still went "straight" down the road. I'm building another 5.0 GT, but this one will have a roll cage and a 351.
