Default Great run the '86 GT last night.

Crusin home and i pull beside a '01 SS goin about 40. He kicks it a couple of times, and so i get ready to have my headlights sucked out. Owning an LS1 i know that 40 isn't to great of a mph to go from, so i put the 5.0 in 3rd, slow down to 40, and we both hit it. I pull him to about 75-80 to where i could see one of his headlights in my rearview. This happened twice. I was surprised to say the least.

We pull over and chat, nice guy says his car dynoed 322 RWHP, 6 spd, etc. We decide to run from a dead stop to about 80ish on a deserted road. I count down from 3 and we hit it. I pull half a car in 1st while we are both spinnin bad. Hit 2nd and get massive wheel hop and he pulls even. I hit 3rd and the LS1 starts the pull it is known for. We shut down at 75ish with him 1 car ahead and he was pullin HARD. That was about an 1/8 and any longer would have been total disaster for the '86. We talked for a bit more, and plan on meeting at the track.

This time i will bring my LS1
