I got a lead on a 93 LX Chrome Yellow convertible Feature car right in my city!!

I got the vin number, but I dont think I can verify that this is indeed the feature car without the rest of the info on the tag in the door. Can anyone tell me what the codes would be to verify this is indeed the real deal?

Also, the owner says the car came with chrome shorty headders. I think not. The car also has a yellow cowl grill just below the winshield as apposed to the usual black grill. Im not sure if this is factory or not.

The car does have the chrome rims, wing on the trunk, color keyed trim and mirrors, black top, black leather.

anyinfo would be appreciated. I want to save this car from some kid who will just run it into the ground.
