thats true,
it may be as far as the 80's hatch an notch's suspension go but the sn95 mustangs come out ridin on lil 16's (if you didn't order the premium 245/ 17's) they also came with lots of wheel gap in the fenders... it jus dosen't look finished for some reason. now the 05 concept seems to have taken note from the 80's foxes an comes out with virtually no fender gap as far as i can tell (which makes the car very attractive, even bone stock)

yea the foxes are drag material no doubt, lil body, big engine,(forged pistons in the 87 GT) it's a recipe perfect for the1/4.

you can dump enough money into any car to get it to do the impossible. the pushrods seems to favor the drag an autocross tho, strictly for their low end torque.

the sn95 4v cobra's seem at home on the twisty's

the first generation 2v 4.6 gt's lack that low end stock. but the 99-03's come out with 260 horses.(friend of mines stock 01 went 13.669 in the 1/4 with an exhaust an air filter)
