Basicly all the diff between a 2v and a 4v, is the intake manifold and carb. 2v is a 2-barrel carb, and a 4v is a four-barrel. Yes, the air cleaner will interchange, because the top of the carb on both is the same size, mainly just for stuff like that.

U said the vin says it's a 4v, what is the vin #?
