Question Carb Cleaner

I have an old holley 1850 that I got from a friend for $35. It has, of course, seen better days. It is very blackened and dirty, and I was just wondering what is the best carb cleaner I can get for it? I have rebuilt a few carbs in my day, and I have tried many different solutions but they all tend to suck. I can't help but think there is a better way. I am looking for a solution that I can dip my carb in over night or for a day. Price isn't too much of an issue, but I don't want to get too crazy with it either. About $10-$20 is what I want to spend. Also, the carb I have on right now has an electric choke. I want to convert it back to the manual choke. Where is the best place to get the cable and the bracket for the inside of the car? The carb that I bought already has the manual choke on the side of it, so I don't have to worry about finding that. Thanks for the help!!!
