If you need to spare some time on the engine you could try using 20W50 oil which would help a little on pressure, also if your engine isn't smoking you could replace/regrind your crank, and replace the oil pump, rod and main bearings to last a little longer.

or....you could get a bad@ss crate motor

As far as i know the crate motors are very reliable and put out the amount of horsepower ford says they do.
