you dont have to take the actual drums off, there is a rubber cover on the inside of the brake, you have to look right near where the axle meets the brakes, remove that rubber piece and insert a very skinny flat head screw driver to push a the stopper back and then turn it with a brake adjusting tool, refer to your chilton manual for which direction to turn
