I'll keep trying. It needs to come out. I can't believe I am having so much trouble with one bolt. Last night I tried to put a wrench on one of the bolts on the fly wheel and wedge it against the engine stand. It held the crank in place but I had no luck with getting that damn bolt out. I guess I need to go get that breaker bar. I was using a 1/2" drive socket wrench and I was hitting it with a hammer, no luck. It's just being really stubborn.
Fordkid, are sure about placing that bar in those holes? That really looks to me like I could damage something I don't want to. Anyone else have anything to add to that. I also had someone tell me to place a bar in one of the holes on the flywheel to stop the crank from turning. I don't like that idea either. I know I am working with hardened steel and cast iron and what not but, jamming something in-between "vital" parts of an engine that I want to reuse does not sound like something I want to.
Still trying.
