ok. . .for the naysayers here. . .I have a 1989 GT in my drive with the calipers from a 87 mk7 on the front and the rotors are the stock Mustang rotors. The calipers have zilch to do with anti-lock brakes as that part of the braking system is attached to the rear half. I walked into NAPA and asked for some calipers and brake pads for a 87 lincoln and walked out about 48 bucks lighter and the brakes immediately felt like a different car. THe thing stops now. They've been on the car for about 2 years now so I don't think there's gonna be a problem with the change.
