I just swapped heads and cam, the timing chain was a hair longer (stretched) over a high mileage period of time, i just replaced the chain, and not the sprockets.
if you got 279 rwhp from stock cam, that is pretty impressive imo.
if your gonna keep the 1.7 rr's, id suggest the e-cam, thats what i run with 1.7's, and stock pistons, runs strong.
p.s, if your car gets revved up alot, go ahead and get the frpp true roller timing chain, i just got the stock replacement chain, works good so far.
