Before getting a new fuel pump, I would check to see what kind of fuel pressure you have, and yes replace that fuel filter. Pressure should be quite high, around 50 psi if I remember right? You might have better luck with this question in the Windsor section.

Vishnoff: Are you the same person? Might help to start a new thread. Did you use an allignment tool to hold the clutch disk in place when you assembled? Shouldn't matter since it all went back toghether. Your clutch is fully engaged and is not disengaging. I would adjust the linkage adjustment to engage the clutch sooner in your pushing the pedal to the floor. If that dosen't do it, I would question if the throwout bearing was in backwards or not? If it is missaligned or backwards, it may not be traveling far enough to disengage the clutch.
