Here is the reply I got back form HP Performance.

Hey Paul, with proper tunning the pistons will handle 500 HP or more, but I would tune it for less on the street as aposed to the strip. As far as an FMU I would not put one on since we have tunned our kit without it and an FMU is only a quick fix at best with inconsistent changes in fuel ratio and requires a much better pump. On our base kit which comes with 42# injectors we have made 634 RWHP and 786 RWTQ and no FMU. As far as the transmission I would not power shift and keep the power below 500 RWHP. Your electric fan will work. We can get you any boost controller you want and we ship the kit within 14 working days althought we add 7 working days for the 66mm upgrade due to balancing and machining. You should be able to run 10.80 at 127 with out more than 14 psi and 20 degrees of timming, we have ran faster with our base kit but remember this is only a guess not a guarantee. I would recomend a digital 6 ignition because of the built in two step an! d an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, both of these pieces we can supply to you. I am going to send you an order forum with some of our available options so you can get an idea of pricing. Feel free to ask all the questions you want take care and God bless,
