First of all stock gears for the automatic were 3:27's the stick came with 2:72 or 3:08 as an option. If you are wanting to keep up with a camaro at highway speeds the 3:73 or 4:10's won't help. Unless the camaro is a V 6. Where the gears will help is from red light to red light where most "racing" ( a dirty word) takes place. The gas mailage won't be noticed after the first time you mash the gas from a stop and you feel the added acceleration! I wish I had gone 4:10's! And your rear end should be alot stronger now.
