Hmmmm...
Your post is a little confusing, but let's make it simple.
1. Get the motor to TDC going off of the balancer.
2. Loosen and remove the distributor hold down bolt.
3. Remove the distributor.
4. Inspect the dist. just for giggles.
5. Re-stab the dist. and make sure that the rotor is pointing to the #1 postition. Keep trying until you get it there.
6. Tighten the hold down bolt.
7. Re-connect any loose wires.
8. Start the car and shoot it with a timing light.
9. If it is not timed where you want it then turn off the car and remove the Spout connector. Time the car. Turn off the car and replace the spout connector.
10. If all of this does not work then post back up and we will determine if you are getting spark or not.
