You're right, its actually a 4.94L but to keep it from being confused with the inline 6 cylinder 4.9L they rounded it up.

Coupe50h, my intake didn't look too great beforehand either. I cleaned that thing with a couple cans of brake cleaner and engine degreaser and it still wouldnt come clean. So I just decided to see what some "aluminum" colored high temp engine paint would look like on it, and it turned out REALLY well. I'm very impressed with the stuff. Its the Dupli-color stuff you can get at wallmart or autozone or wherever. I painted my upper, lower, timing cover, and a few other brackets and it looks a ton better than it did before. A friend of mine couldn't even tell that it was paint on my intake, he just thought I got it really clean
